We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Community Gardening Advisors to take our Yorkshire Community Outreach programme forward. If you are passionate about community growing, a skilled horticulturalist with experience of inspiring communities new to gardening and the next generation of gardeners, then this is the role for you!
Working as part of a national outreach team this role will focus on the urban areas of West Yorkshire where you will work alongside a broad and diverse range of community stakeholders. As a team leader, the Senior Community Gardening Advisor will lead on establishing a strong and supportive local network, developing programmes of activity and running training workshops and events to build community skills and capacity for groups. The ability to work collaboratively with excellent project management and communication skills are essential.
Experience of working with community organisations, volunteers, young people, children, families and schools is essential. Ideally, you should have a relevant practical Horticultural Qualification to a minimum Level 2 in Horticulture or equivalent experience.
The role is home based, and will include regular travel across the region and to RHS Gardens /offices including associated RHS partner gardens and approved learning centres.

Salary: Senior Community Outreach Advisor £30-£32k per annum (plus company car)
