Licensing Development Executive
The Royal Horticultural Society’s Licensing Programme sits within the retail division and works with an array of manufacturing partners and retailers creating exciting and innovative products for consumers to enjoy. These products range from gardening structures, tools and sundries to beautiful gifts and homeware. The programme is well-established, generating a significant annual revenue stream for the Society.
The Licensing Team has a vacancy for a Licensing Development Executive who will work with the Licensing Manager and Senior Licensing Development Executive to recruit and manage a number of licensees across various product categories. The successful candidate will be required to identify and research prospects, create and pitch approaches to deliver new business to pre-determined targets. Managing existing licensees is also a key part of this role.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to work using their own initiative and happy to assist their colleagues as required. Enthusiastic, with great people skills and the ability to multi-task, the candidate must possess an eye for detail and a desire to develop their position further. Experience of the Brand Licensing Industry is desirable as is a sales and marketing background. This role will include some travel including when necessary overnight stays.
