As the Events Support Assistant you will be an integral part of making sure all RHS fundraising events run smoothly and efficiently throughout this period, and will deputise for the Events Manager.For more than 210 years the Royal Horticultural Society has been the force behind the nation’s gardening. Role OverviewThe main role of the Events Support Assistant is to deputise for the Events Manager and support them in the planning and delivery of RHS fundraising events. This will include:• To assist with the planning and booking of all event logistics• To manage event RSVPs, and any guest requirements• To assist with the on the day running of fundraising events• To assist/deputise the Events Manager during RHS Shows and large events when there may be multiple events or event activity taking place at once• To assist with mailings such as invitations, confirmation letters and follow up letters• To help make sure guests have the best possible time at our events
