Are you passionate about trees and arboriculture? This post is an amazing opportunity for you to learn at RHS Garden Wisley, one of the great gardens of the world. The RHS School of Horticulture has been at the forefront of horticultural training for over 100 years and provides a one of a kind opportunity for those wishing to get practical, hands-on experience in arboriculture within a garden setting.
The Specialist Horticultural Student placement is a one-year course of paid work experience with some academic study. As the specialist arboriculture student you will work daily with the team and be involved in all arboricultural jobs undertaken including tree pruning and removal, felling, chipping, stump-grinding, tractor driving, tree inspections, air-spading, mulching and tree planting.
