Senior Licensing Development Executive
The Royal Horticultural Society’s Licensing Programme sits within the retail division and works with an array of manufacturing partners and retailers creating exciting and innovative products for consumers to enjoy. These products range from gardening structures, tools and sundries to beautiful gifts and homeware. The programme is well-established, generating a significant annual revenue stream for the Society.
The Licensing Team has a vacancy for a Senior Licensing Development Executive who will recruit and manage a number of licensees across various product categories. The successful candidate will be required to identify opportunities, research prospects, create approaches and pitch tailored presentations delivering new business to targets set by the Licensing Manager. Developing existing licensees to release their full potential is a key part of this role.
The successful candidate will be highly organised and able to work using their own initiative while also happy to assist colleagues and the Licensing Manager. Enthusiastic, with great people skills and the ability to multi-task, the candidate must have experience of working in the Brand Licensing Industry, be a confident presenter with a proven track record of developing key accounts and have previously managed others. They must possess an eye for detail and a desire to develop their position further. This role will include some travel including when necessary overnight stays.
